Pease Sweep Guide

Step 1: Measure the width of your door

  • Determine whether you need a 32", 36", or 42” wide sweep
  • If you need a 32" sweep in a style where only 36" is available, simply order the 36" and cut to size with a pair of scissors

Step 2: Select the appropriate style sweep

 Steel Slide-On (D19001 - 32", D19054 - 36", D19005 - 42")

  • Slide-On sweep for Pease Steel or Wood doors (Ever-Strait, Homestead, Trooper, Registry) made between 1978 and 2000 (1/8" track height on top of sweep and 5/8" between tracks can be seen in profile above)

Fiberglass Slide-On (D19199 - 36")

  • Slide-On sweep for Pease Fiberglass doors made before 1998 (3/16" track height on top of sweep and 5/8" between tracks can be seen in profile above) - test that a magnet does not stick to your door to confirm you have a fiberglass door

 Steel Drive-On (D112003 - 36")

  • Drive-On sweep for Pease Steel doors made October 2000 onward (5/8" from top of one barb to the top of the other barb shown in profile above)

Fiberglass Drive-On (D19634 - 36")

  • Drive-On sweep for Pease Fiberglass doors made 1998 onward (.795" between the tracks or barbs shown in profile above)
